I know I know

It’s been well over a year since my last post, good gosh! One of the reasons I haven’t posted is because I was to lazy sometimes to fix the site due to old plugins messing with the new wordpress, and I had a bad import of the database, then I’d get to busy and completely not have anytime for the site. So my lazy butt finally fixed it and well so much has happened in my life since then and so little at the same time well in my gaming world that is, as I don’t play nearly as much as I used to when I first started the site.

So X5 is back sort of and I’ll definitely try to keep you updated a bit more then once between 2 years haha. Anyways as you can see below in my last post I always had problems with my Xbox 360 dvd drive, and it finally crapped out on me a few months ago which isn’t to bad considering it was a launch 360 so it lasted me a good 3 years! I’m currently borrowing a 360 to curb my xbox gaming needs until I can afford to buy another 360 and I’m thankful for that!

Wow there’s so much more I want to say! But I’ll spread it out over upcoming posts, and for those of you who still read this thank you and I hope to keep you entertained and informed as much as I can in the future.

Me + Live Vision + Rainbow Six Vegas

Equals my head mapped into the game! I have to say it works pretty well, it’s not me EXACTLY but it’s really not to far off and you can clearly see the resemblance, and I’m now a big fan of this and wish they did face mapping in more games, it’s just way to awesome see yours and your friends heads/faces in a game, especially when you get to shoot them! Well enough with the yapping and on with the pictures, I took this with my cellphone (yes I need a digicam) so they aren’t exactly the highest quality, but you can still see my face and what not, anyways now i’m gonna go back to blasting terrorists sky high in style :D

Forget Christmas!

Saturday, October 14th, 2006

From the middle of this month (October) to the middle of next month (November) we have 6 absolutely killer games coming out, and my most anticipated console…the Nintendo Wii! My wallet is definitely going to be hurting, I have each one of these on pre-order and I’m really hoping to have some time to play each one (wheather/job permitting) and share with you guys my experience

  • Anyways back to the games October 17th we have the release of Splinter Cell: Double Agent which I’m hoping is gonna be just as damn good as Chaos Theory if not better, Ubisoft is certainly taking a different approach this time around, Sam Fisher is going to be doing alot of hiding in plain sight instead of in murky shadows and/or dark corners, and so far from what I’ve read all over is the storyline looks great, and having the ability to choose between doing evil and good makes me tingle, I think I’m gonna go through killing everything the first time :D cause that’s how I roll!
  • October 31st we have Need For Speed: Carbon, Which I barely know anything about except that they’re going back to the NFS: Underground feel, so I’m guessing there will be lots of drifting, and lots of import/tuner cars, Now I liked the Underground series but the only thing I thought was lacking was the police chases, which Most Wanted did very well! And if they can mix those 2 together just right…I don’t think I have to say anything! Can’t wait until it’s in my hands though!
  • November 7th we have two kick ass High Action/Shooting games hitting stores at the same time! One has been very highly anticipated since the Xbox 360’s launch, I don’t think I even have to intro it but I will…Gears Of War! This games looks awesome on all levels, not only because of the breathtaking graphics, but we all know Epic has some of the best Sci-Fi stories that go very well with there games, and as always their multiplayer usually raises the bar for other multiplay online games, and Gears Of War doesn’t look like it’s going to disappoint in any of those departments!
  • Then the very same day November 7th we have Call Of Duty 3. Do you like Bang, Boom, and like being in the middle of lots of Chaos? Well this game is certainly for you! So if this game is anything like Call Of Duty 2 and what the trailers and pictures show, be prepared to feel like your really in the middle of a war, and what also really helps you feel like you’re there is the games great storylines and good voice acting, and I’m really glad they went the extra step with the good voice acting in Call Of Duty 2 it wasn’t “cheesy” or overly dramatic, I’m betting Call Of Duty 3 will be on par if not better then Call Of Duty 2, I can’t wait!
  • November 11th! The coolest gamer came into existance, oh wait this isn’t a game it’s My birthday! Ah I just wanted to make a cheap plug ;)
  • November 14th we’ve got 2 very different games side by side, WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2007 and Rainbow Six: Vegas, and by very different I mean very different in a FUN way! But it’s been a long time in the waiting, we finally have a damn good wrestling game coming to the Xbox 360 in WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2007 it’s going to have a ton of wrestlers on the roster, and a promising grappling system. I really can’t wait to play as DX, The Rock, and many others, and make my own guy with custom entrances! I definitely can’t wait to give some of my friends the beatdown in a hell in a cell match! :D Just bring it already
  • And the very same day November 14th we have Rainbow Six: Vegas hitting the shelves, Now I’ve been waiting for a good Rainbow Six game since Raven Shield and Black Arrow, Well it looks like it’s finally here! The previews, pictures, trailers of gameplay look phenomenal! The original developers who made Raven Shield and Black Arrow are taking back the reigns, which makes me oh so happy, because I lived and breathed multiplayer Raven Shield and Black Arrow when it first came out, the games were intensely fun, realistic close quarter battles, with anticipation that someone could come bursting around the corner, or pop you in the head from far away, and since Ubisoft Montreal is back in charge of the Rainbow Six series, we shouldn’t have the horrible Lockdown/Critical Hour cartoony/arcade experience, Oh and Rainbow Six: Vegas is going to have integration with the Xbox Live Vision camera, you will be able will map your face onto a character in the game, So you’ll get to see my ugly mug before I shoot you :) Anywho Here’s a link to the Live Vision integration Rainbow Six: Vegas to use Xbox Live Vision
  • November 19th! The day we get to play with our little Wii! Ok ok bad joke :P The Nintendo Wii, this little console may not pack the graphics punch as the 360 and PS3 do, but it’s sure going to pack a big punch for fun! This little console (as big as 3 dvd cases stacked) is looking very promising, the physical interactivity and innovation it’s going to bring just screams “next gen” to me more so then the other 2 consoles, I can’t imagine how much fun it’s going to be to really feel like I’m going to club one of my friends in Super Smash Bros., or to feel like I’m going to really shoot an arrow at a monster in Legend of Zelda, and the fact that it’s going to be online all the time, so if I feel like it I can go visit one of my friend’s towns in Animal Crossing anytime! Or even better invite one of them to race me in Mario Kart online :) And I forgot to mention that you can download and play any old Nintendo game ranging back to the first (NES) Super Mario Bros. all the way up to (Nintendo 64) Super Mario 64. But I’m just super excited to get my hands on this thing, I really hope Nintendo pulls it off this time, either way I’m going to have a Wii! I sure hope some of you do also!

Well this had to have been bar none the longest blog I’ve ever posted! But it’s also because it’s an exciting time to be a gamer, and I hope each of these games is great, and my best wishes to Nintendo that they pull off an awesome launch! Take care, and let me know what you guys think of this list, and what your most anticipated games or console is!

Look who it is! and updates

Saturday, July 15th, 2006

Yes I know it’s been awhile, I’ve been really busy with work, family, and just life in general, so I’ve been to tired or lazy to blog, and my PC was acting up really bad but we’ll get to that later, but from now I’ll try to set aside a few minutes here and there when I can, and give you guys some updates on whatever I deem necessary. So anyways now that I am back some updates! I’ve recently gotten myself a Mac Mini with a 1.66ghz Intel Core Duo, because the Windows PC problems I was having…crashing, blue screens, resetting. I don’t even know where to begin to tell you how awesome this little thing is, I don’t have to worry about spyware, viruses, Blue Screens, or any other Windows problems! Oh and to top off the beauty I just ordered 2gb of ram for it! I’ll have more on my Mac Mini when the ram comes in. Now on to the gaming updates, I’ve now got 19 Xbox 360 games! I’ve almost beat all of them except for a few woohoo :) Now the most recent games I’ve been playing are OverG Fighters it’s a military jet fighter game that rides the line between sim and arcade, and of course Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter! Ubisoft recently came out with some new download content for G.R.A.W. new maps, missions, gametypes, and oh man I gotta say they’re definitely worth the 1200 ms points! I’ve yet to set aside time to play the new gametypes, and a couple other maps, but I promise you I will! Anyhoo I hope to keep you guys/girls more up to date from now on about whatever, so back to enjoying my Mac Mini and maybe get some game time in! Take care

Your Xbox 360 Can Blog

Monday, May 1st, 2006

Well as always I get my dish of morning news via RSS everymorning, and I thought this article was pretty funny and interesting so I wanted to share with you all before I headed off to work, it appears they have a way to make it look like your Xbox 360 is blogging like a real person would, you just have to signup with your gamertag and email, and there website grabs an RSS feed (like a person would) of the games you played or what not, then it starts blogging about the games you played after it collects all the needed info, and yes I signed up :) I just have to wait the 2 days before it kicks in, I’ll post about it again when it starts blogging! Let me know if you signed up also

It’s creepy and curious…all at the same time. XboxVoice.com give your Xbox 360 the ability to blog all by itself. In other words, you enter your gamertag at the site, and based on what you do on Xbox Live (games played etc) Xbox360voice will automatically create a blog for your Xbox 360. Each day your Xbox 360 will blog an entry…even if you don’t game.
